This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Ledger web application and services provided by Ledger App. By using Ledger, you agree to comply with this policy.
Ledger is designed for professional retail buyers to capture, organize, and analyze vendor and product information for trade show and wholesale buying purposes. You may use Ledger for any lawful business purpose consistent with this intended use.
You agree not to use Ledger to:
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Upload, transmit, or store content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party.
- Upload malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or any other malicious code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, its infrastructure, or other users' accounts.
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access, extract, or copy data from Ledger without our written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Ledger software.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit Ledger without our prior written consent.
- Use Ledger to store or transmit confidential information belonging to third parties without their consent.
- Impersonate any person, entity, or organization.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service or its infrastructure.
- Use the AI summary features to generate misleading, defamatory, or harmful content about brands, products, or individuals.
All content you upload to Ledger — including product photos, files, notes, and descriptions — must be content you have the right to use. Do not upload copyrighted materials, confidential third-party documents, or personally identifiable information about individuals without appropriate authorization.
4. File Upload Restrictions
You may upload photos, PDF files, and CSV files up to 30MB per file. You agree not to upload files containing malware, illegal content, or content that violates third-party intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to remove any uploaded content that violates this policy.
The AI-generated buying summaries and OTB analysis features are provided for informational purposes only. You agree not to use these features to generate content that is intentionally misleading, defamatory, or harmful. AI-generated content should be reviewed and verified before being used for business decisions.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including issuing a warning, suspending or terminating your account, removing content, or reporting the activity to law enforcement authorities.

8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this AUP at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting with an updated effective date. Continued use of Ledger after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
